Team Members execute a variety of BarBici stations:

  • Cashier/Bartender
  • Expo
  • Carryout
  • Grill/Fry
  • Prep/Stove
  • Oven/Pasta
  • Front Line
  • Front Line Assistant

In each station, Team Members are focusing on the Guest Experience. In addition to following BarBici's policies and procedures, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Cashier/Bartender

It is the job of a BarBici cashier/bartender to serve alcoholic beverages as ordered by Guest and to handle Guest's payment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Greet Guest with friendliness
  • Suggestive sell alcoholic beverages
  • Fill alcoholic beverage orders
  • Provide responsible alcohol service
  • Handle Guest's payment for entire order of food & drinks
  • Thank Guest and invite them to return
  • Ring employee meals
  • Sidework and stocking
  • Cleaning
  • Product knowledge
  • Provide hospitable guest service
  • Follow warewashing procedures
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager

 

Job Specifications:
Position requires ability to learn BarBici's standard service and operational procedures, organizational ability, ability to use a computerized point-of-sale system and transact payment accurately. Must be able to obtain liquor permit. Friendly and professional demeanor toward Guests. Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior foodservice experience is helpful but not necessary.


Cook

It is the job of a BarBici cook to prepare all recipes and menu items to BarBici specifications and to fill Guest orders.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Follow all food safety rules and guidelines
  • Sidework and stocking
  • Cleaning
  • Proper use of equipment
  • Loss and waste prevention
  • Proper portioning
  • Interact and communicate with other cooks
  • Interact with guests
    • Greet each Guest with sincerity
    • Be knowledgeable, passionate, enthusiastic and helpful about food offerings - giving as much explanation and/or help regarding food/procedures as the Guest needs
    • Make suggestions for ingredients, add-ons, and specials
    • Follow the Guest/party filling their order all the way to the cashier
  • Follow warewashing procedures
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager

 

Job Specifications:

Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior foodservice experience is helpful but not necessary.
